In the first episode you see it from the perspective of an engineering robot RT-217NP, who seems to be very curious about the human race, long extinct in wasting wars. Make fateful decisions and discuss intriguing matters to find out the whole truth being kept from you.

The Uncertain: Episode 1 is a futuristic sci-fi point and click taking you into the world of robots! In the world of The Uncertain humans were have known to be extinct for a long time but before they disappeared highly intelligent robots were given life and from there a civilization was born. As the main protagonist tries to find his purpose a brand new world opens and secrets that lay dormant for far too long, come to light.
The game originated from a small tech demo the developer team put together and quickly gathered attention, from there the team brought to life this masterpiece and while it still has some minor tweaks needing to be done here and there, overall the team did an incredible job. I was highly anticipating playing episode 1 and let me tell you I was not let down, the developers even released mobile versions recently, widening the availability for the game to played for all kinds of gamers.
When I play these type of games I can’t help but think of talltale games as the choices you make shape the world around you, even though your a robot, your choices still carry a heavy weight. From graphics, audio and overall ambiance, there is a certain mood that is carried throughout the game piking your interesting every step of the way. I haven’t quiet finished episode 1 just yet but from what I have seen, i’m sure there’s plenty more to come! Especially since this is only episode 1, the story goes on and without giving too much away I can probably safely hint that all is not as it appears.
The Uncertain is powered by the well known Unity engine, bringing life to this wonderful world and giving the developers the ability to create stunning worlds with optimized gameplay. As a Unity user myself I can only be proud to see another great game built in an engine I enjoy using myself, it’s one of many incredible games and not the last i’m sure.
